Sanford, FL — March 21, 2026 — Presented by America First Healthcare
There is a moment that happens at every UNIFY USA event. It is hard to predict exactly when it will come, but you always know it when it does. The noise fades a little, someone looks around at the sea of flags and the strangers-turned-friends surrounding them, and something shifts. A smile breaks through. A handshake turns into a hug. A conversation that started between two people who had never met becomes something that will be remembered for years.
That moment happened in Sanford on March 21st. It happened dozens of times.
Over 200 Americans showed up to Tuffy’s Music Box in Sanford, Florida for the UNIFY USA Orlando Flag Run, and what they created together was something that goes far beyond a morning event on a calendar. It was proof — living, breathing, flag-waving proof — that the America we believe in is still here, still strong, and still worth showing up for.
The Flag Sponsor Who Made It Possible
None of this happens without people who believe in the mission. America First Healthcare came in as the flag sponsor for the Orlando event, and their generosity set the tone for everything that followed. Because of their support, there were flags — hundreds of them — lining the streets of downtown Sanford, carried in the hands of people from every walk of life, united under the same stars and stripes.
America First Healthcare did not just sponsor a run. They sponsored a moment of national unity. Their commitment to this movement reflects exactly what UNIFY USA is about: Americans choosing to invest in their communities, in each other, and in the idea that this country is worth fighting for.
“To America First Healthcare — thank you. This event was what it was because of you, and we will not forget it.”
200 People. One Direction. Downtown Sanford.
When the run got underway, the streets of downtown Sanford transformed. More than 200 people carrying American flags moved together through the heart of the city — a rolling wave of red, white, and blue that turned heads, stopped traffic, and brought people out of shops and restaurants just to watch.
There is something powerful about that image. In a country that often feels divided — where the loudest voices seem to be the ones pulling people apart — here was 200 people moving in the same direction, carrying the same flag, representing every age, every background, every type of American you can imagine. No one was there to argue. Everyone was there to connect.
The route wound through the streets and brought the group to one of the most meaningful stops of the morning: the Veterans Memorial. The entire crowd gathered together for a photo at the memorial — flags held high, heads bowed in respect, smiles through tears. If you were there, you know what it felt like. If you were not, we hope these words give you a reason to show up next time.

The Energy of Sanford
What makes a UNIFY USA event different from a regular 5K or community run is the energy — and the energy in Sanford was unlike anything we have seen in a long time. People were not just showing up to move their feet. They were showing up to be seen, to be heard, and to connect with fellow Americans who share their belief that unity is not a political position. It is a choice.
The conversations happening throughout the morning were the kind you do not expect to find at a run. Deep conversations. Meaningful ones. Veterans talking to young people. Families meeting neighbors they had never introduced themselves to. People from different cities and states, drawn together by something bigger than any of them. The smiles were everywhere — not polite smiles. Real ones.
Every event starts with strangers and ends with friends
Fueled and Ready — On the Water
UNIFY USA made sure everyone who showed up had everything they needed for an incredible morning. Electrolytes were on hand to keep everyone fueled and moving strong. Food and drinks were available so people could refuel, hang around, and keep the conversations going long after the run wrapped up.
The route along Lake Monroe added a backdrop that only Florida can provide — open water, clear skies, and the kind of natural beauty that reminds you how lucky we are to call this country home.
What It Means to Show Up
Every person who showed up on March 21st made a statement. They chose to get off the couch on a Saturday morning. They chose to carry a flag through their city. They chose to stand next to a stranger and say, without words, I believe in this country and I believe in you.
That is what UNIFY USA is built on. Not politics. Not division. Not the endless noise of a world that wants us at each other’s throats. Just Americans, choosing unity. Choosing to show up. Choosing each other.
This is what it looks like when Americans choose each other
“Two hundred people walked through Sanford on March 21st. They carried flags and smiles and the unshakeable belief that this country is worth fighting for. That is UNIFY USA.”
