Twenty-two miles. One flag. The run that started everything.

Teagan was twenty-one. He knew there was division in this country, and even inside his own family when it came to politics. With four generations of military service behind him, he felt the pull to pick up the flag and remember what it means to be an American. So on September 3rd, 2025, he set out. No plan, no camera, no audience. The run ended up going twenty-two miles.

At the seventeen mile mark, his father checked his location, rolled up beside him, and started filming. It was the first video Teagan ever posted with the flag. Overnight it went everywhere. Tens of millions of views and around 800,000 likes. People did not fall in love with a workout. They fell in love with a father and a son, and a twenty-one year old carrying the flag for everyone but himself.

Teagan decided he would run with the flag every day and try to put a smile on a stranger's face. Around day seven he said it out loud for the first time: I'm running with the American flag to unify the American people. It stuck like glue and never changed. People have spit at him, cursed at him, thrown water on him. Every time, he answers with love. Two things he holds to: restore patriotism, and take the politics out of the flag.

People kept asking where they could run with him, so he posted a meetup at Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa. He sat there fifteen minutes and nobody came. Then Miss Sandy walked up with no flag, just a kind heart. Then Sultan, who saw the post, left class, ran home for his flag, and ran to Bayshore to join. The next Saturday, eight people. A few weeks later they showed up ten minutes late expecting five and found forty. By the end of December, 115 to 130 patriots ran Bayshore in the pouring rain, almost every hand holding a flag.

Koston kept hearing his brother say it is day ___ of running with the American flag to unify the American people. On December 11th, 2025, lying in bed around 2 AM, he designed the UNIFY USA logo. The next day he brought it to Teagan with one pitch: let's build a movement around this. They became equal co-founders that day, the runner and the brother who built it around him.

Teagan's first idea was to run a half marathon in every state out of a van. The brothers realized bigger UNIFY USA events could reach far more people, and the UNIFY USA Tour was born. Los Angeles. Hawaii. Miami Beach, 200 strong down South Beach with police escorts. Sanford. Nashville on Broadway. The promise is all fifty states, unifying Americans one step and one smile at a time. And the truth they keep repeating: this is just the beginning.
